Why we need a new bank that works

This is ridiculous! I was just moving money around, and left an account empty for ~45 days, and Wells Fargo silently closed it for me. I need a new checking account that doesn't suck - recommendations anyone?

Even free webmail accounts in 1997 had 90-day no-use-recycle policies ...

I have a Chase Checking account. Although they charge you a monthly fine (now $12) for idling, the account is closed when there is no money left to deduct towards the fines. But upon depositing funds into the account, the account is reopened automatically.
